Historical records till us that gambling artifacts have be found in ancient Rome, Egypt China and India. Found on a tablet from the Cheops pyramid were writings that were specific to gambling. There have also been findings about gambling being outlawed as early as the 14th century. This was done by King Henry VIII of England when he found his soldiers distracted from the marksmanship and drills to gamble instead.
